October has been a great month, much more exciting than I had anticipated at the start of the year! Firstly I am absolutely obsessed with Halloween, so October will always be fantastic in my eyes. Secondly, halfway through the year my parents bought a Spanish apartment, yay! so we quickly booked a break for the half term..

I had my bedroom redecorated at the beginning of the month; basically there was a big flowery wallpaper where there is now a stripe. The flowers were gorgeous brown and gold tones, but I just didn't feel that I could do much else with the rest of my room. Now that the "feature wall" is plain I can chop and change my bed cover and cushions as and when I like!

We were in Spain for Halloween this year but luckily I work with children and we had a fancy dress day at work! I needed something easy as I'd only found out about it 4 days before... I whipped down the local charity shop and bought some glasses, a dress, cardi and shoes; borrowed my mums Joules scarf and the rest was down to makeup, which involved me getting up at 6.30 in the morning and praying nothing went wrong! So the entire outfit only cost a few pounds, great if you're on a budget!

Needless to say I had an amazing holiday however it's hard to believe that you're coming up to Christmas when you're laying by a pool in around 30 degrees heat! I'm back home now and have to get ready to get my coat out for tomorrow, not looking forward to that!
