Remember, remember the fifth of November.. Tomorrow is Guy Fawkes night and although I can't paint my nails for work I still wanted to have a go at firework nail art!
After searching the internet for inspiration I combined a few different styles I'd seen and started on my own design. Searching through my nail art box I chose the brightest colours that I could find and set to work...
1. Paint a black base, I used Nails Inc Black Taxi.
2. Use a red nail art pen, here, to start the first firework, flicking in from the edge.
3. Use a green nail art pen, from this pack, to start the second firework from the opposite side.
4. Use an orange nail art pen to layer colour on top of the red, creating dimension.
5. Use a yellow nail art pen to create the same effect on the green firework.
6. Add glitter on top of each firework, I used OPI Goldeneye on the red and orange firework and a silver glitter nail art pen on top of the green and yellow firework.
I love this look because its so versatile and you could use any combination of colours that you choose!
